As part of the preparations for the Federation Cup, a soft lockdown of the Loftus Stadium precinct is now in effect. This resulted in the closure of Lynnwood Road and Jorissen Street between University Road and Walton Jameson Street.

The re-erection of carports removed from Parking Area H9 behind CEFIM, on Parking Area H1 south of the Information Technology building, will be completed shortly.

The Ring Road will be partially closed from Thursday 7 May 2009 onwards. A temporary entrance to provide access to the Administration Building will at the same time be opened in Lynnwood Road.
