Prof Linda Schoeman-Malan attended the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa conference at the University of the Free State on 15 September where she presented a paper “Revocation by a later Will – Pienaar v The Master”. She also presented a paper at the Law of Succession and Trust Law Conference at De Oude Kraal, Free State on 16 September on “Lost Wills and the duty to care”.

Mr Frans Haupt presented the following papers. On 17 August "Possible Amendments to the National Credit Act" during the Annual Conference of the Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa (DCASA) at Emperors Palace, and on 19 August "Update on The National Credit Act" for credit providers in Kwazulu-Natal organised by S R Maharaj Attorneys, Umhlanga.
