This 350 page research report is titled “An Assessment of Debt Counselling in South Africa: December 2011 – April 2012” (2012) and was commissioned by the National Credit Regulator.
In a further development, this three-member team, with the support from a number of academics and other experts in the field of credit law, has been tasked to draft a credit policy review document for the Department of Trade and Industry and to recommend amendments to the National Credit Act to Cabinet.
