Adv Oosthuizen SC is an alumnus of UP having obtained the BA, BA (Hons), MA and LLB degrees from Tuks.

Advocate Oosthuizen SC was a lecturer and later an associate professor at the former University of Port Elizabeth before joining the Pretoria Bar in 1993. He achieved senior counsel status in 2008 and in 2012 served as acting Judge. He has for a number of years been involved in teaching and training advocates serving pupillage at the bar.

It is not every day that candidate attorneys and attorneys are presented with the opportunity to learn drafting, litigation and tactical skills from a practitioner with so much experience in the field. The Law Clinic is certainly richer from the experience!
