During 10-12 September 2013 the chair-holder presented at the UKFIET Conference on Education and Development at the University of Oxford. The conference paper was titled 'Leveraging funds for school infrastructure'. A reworked version of the paper has subsequently been accepted for publication.
The chair-holder's former masters' student, Ekanem Okon, also attended this conference where she presented her work titled 'Giving content to basic education as a catalyst for development in Africa'.
