Some great racing took place in the heats on day one of World Cup III in Lucerne, Switzerland.
In the lightweight women’s single sculls (LW1x), Kirsten McCann qualified to go straight through to the A/B semi-finals winning her heat in 7:45:033s. (Qualifiers: RSA, SUI, SWE, DEN2, NED1, MEX)
David Hunt, Lawrence Brittain, Jake Green and John Smith, in the men’s fours (M4-) raced to a great 2nd place and are through to the A/B semi-final! (Qualifiers: ESP, RSA, GBR1, NED1, ITA, FRA)
