Some of the key areas for academic departments where content updates are required are the following: Academic programmes, timetables, lecturers and their associated classes, research outputs. If you get all your info in order, 2012 visitors to your site will be able to get a flying start.

The Web Office is here to help you. 
 
We have just launched an online helpdesk function that is designed to make your live easier.  If you have a request or a query, need help in the admin tool or need training, you can now log a ticket on the Web Office helpdesk.
 
There are two ways to log a ticket : 1) you can go on to /support.mediaps.co.za/ directly or you can go via www.up.ac.za/weboffice and click on the button that says: Need help? Log a ticket. 
 
The ticket will then be assigned to one of our staff members and you will receive feedback within one working day.
 
Now how does this make my life easier, you ask? Well, the system keeps you in the loop and you can track the status at any time. You will receive a mail to inform you if your ticket has been assigned to someone specific and you will be able to view your ticket and the replies from our office.
 
We have been working hard to make your web experience a more pleasant one.

Training Guide 2012

We are proud to announce we have a new training guide. The new training material will also make your life easier as you will now be able to view training material on the following subjects:
