Overview

The PGSA is strictly a non-profit, dependent organisation which runs solely by the volunteer efforts of the postgraduate veterinary students in the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria.

The PGSA meets its objectives by:

1. Maintaining an informative and interactive website through which the postgraduate interests and the Faculty of Veterinary Science will be promoted.
2. Encouraging the postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to engage in more scientific discourse and publications.
3. Providing a better perspective of postgraduate education for undergraduate veterinary students within the faculty.
4. Collaborating with various scientific and professional bodies and organisations within the veterinary and health care fields such as research and pharmaceutical institutes etc.
