Biography

Dr Humphrey Brydon is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Population Studies with seven years’ lecturing experience.

In 2013 he completed his MSc in Statistics and was fortunate enough to also be able to go on an exchange programme in 2013 to Sciences Po in Paris, France. At Sciences Po he registered under the degree of Master of Finance and Strategy. In 2014 he was awarded his Master’s degree in Statistics Cum Laude and in 2018 was awarded a PhD in Statistics.

Current research interests are in the field of Statistical Learning and Big Data Analytics, specifically focussing on the application of statistical methodologies to large data sets.
