Hoops, books and toothbrushes

A fundraiser was held to provide 36 families with food packs with all the basic necessities for December and Christmas. Within about two weeks – with the help of some special friends – all the funds were successfully raised.

A special thanks to the Law House at the Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria – the “Sweet Hearts, Sweet Christmas” campaign raised an incredible amount of money and donated 40 sweet packets, 15 hula hoops, books, and toothbrushes for each kid together with toothpaste. It is a tremendous contribution and I thank you!

As founder of the foundation and a student myself, it has been an honour and an absolute pleasure to do this project, and I for one cannot wait to see the smile on their faces.

Finally, because of YOU – project status: SUCCESS!

The handover of the goods to "Hasie se Holte" will take place on 20 November 2012.
