UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions, Prof Christof Heyns, conducts two-week mission to India during March 2012

At the end of his visit, in the report Prof Heyns submitted to the Indian government, he made 12 recommendations to enhance the protection of the right to life in India, including the repeal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act.
