Mr Emile Gouws was one of 4 participants (experts) in the interview on Realtalk last tuesday night on Sabc 3 season 4 -episode 2.The topic was about autism and how it effects individuals. He shared his experiences as an individual on the ASD Spectrum and the challenges he experienced from a young age. He also talked about his studies. He is currently busy with a auto-ethnography where he shares his personal experiences as an individual on the ASD spectrum and how support changed his life to achieve his goals. "I am aiming to submit my study end october/November and I want to do my Phd next year" said Mr Emile Gouws. He is also a self-advocate for Autism in South Africa where Autism South Africa invites him to share my story to parents with children on the ASD spectrum and with educators aswell to create awareness. Children on the Autism spectrum can learn it just takes time and patience
