The seminar was a huge success with a large number of HR TUKS members attending. Those members, who did attend, thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant and comfortable environment in which the seminar was held. Members of the society felt comfortable enough to get involved in the seminar and interacting with the guest speaker, even feeling at ease enough to ask questions and query about her career and working environment.

It can be said that the first seminar that was held by HR TUKS is one that should be used as a template for future seminars. It was thoroughly enjoyable whilst still providing sufficient information to the students that attended. After leaving the seminar many of the student’s questions were answered and their perspective of what the HR world consists of was definitely broadened.

The seminar was enjoyed by all that attended and was a great success, with students leaving informed and more confident with their choice of study. A goal that we as HR TUKS should be striving towards.
