AmaTuks were pitted against Witbank Spurs in the qualification round for the Nedbank Cup 2017.
The draw was held at the offices of the Premier League on Monday 21 November 2016. AmaTuks will play at home against Witbank Spurs on Wednesday 07 December 2016.

For me there is never a game about revenge; that's not football. It's about getting the best out of our team and to play to the best of our ability in order to advance to the round of 32."
