AmaTuks returned home with a 1 – 0 win which improved their position on the log. Brian Umony’s 7th minute goal proved to be enough for victory.

Winning away from home will be a big confidence booster for AmaTuks.

“We started well and managed to keep our opponents on the back foot. We gained a lot of confidence from having the initiative for most of the match,” said Steve Barker, Head Coach.

A set back was the red card shown to central defender, Morena Mokoena during the last minutes of the game.

“It’s a blow to be given a red card during additional time and even worse to now serve out my suspension” said the disappointed Mokoena.

With a couple of chances missed from the previous game Barker is determined that his side will come out firing on Sunday.

“I’m confident that we will not make the same casual in our next match,” secured Barker.

AmaTuks will be playing Witbank Spurs on Sunday, 31 October 2010 at 15:30 in the Puma Rugby Stadium.
