The University of Pretoria was drawn in group B together with defending champions Orlando Pirates, School of Excellence and Benfica.

Group A: Wits University, Bidvest Wits, SAFA Tshwane, Moroka Swallows
Group C: Rand central LFA, SuperSport Tottenham Academy, Southerns XI, Senoane Gunners
Group D: Soweto Select, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Black Aces

This will also be the first time that a women's section is introduced in the tournament, which will be open age. The University of Pretoria, Wits University, defending USSA champions University of Johannesburg as well as national Sasol League champions Palace Super Falcons are among the teams which will be competing in the women's section.

The tournament will be held 07 - 09 September 2012 at Wits Markspark.
