AmaTuks ready for Stars

 “The break gave us enough time to recuperate and plan for our next match against Free State Stars. It will be a tough encounter, they have a good coach and experienced players”. Said Steve Barker.

AmaTuks’ last league match was a 1-1 draw at home against neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns. The team is currently sitting 5th on the log table with sixteen points after ten games. AmaTuks have only suffered one loss on the road thus far, 1-0 to AmaZulu.

Meanwhile Free State Stars lost to neighbours Bloemfontein Celtic in a Free State Telkom Knockout semi-final derby on the weekend. Stars are sitting 9th on the log table with thirteen points, after ten games. Their last league match outing was a 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates.

This will be first competitive meeting in top flight football between Free State Stars and the University of Pretoria.
