Monyai and Maruping attended the Business Management course in June 2013 through the Continuing Education (CE) at the University of Pretoria.

CE at UP is an accredited provider of more than 500 short certificate courses across 20 industry fields.

The Business Management course took place for the duration of two weeks at the University of Pretoria Hatfield Campus.

Monyai explains that the course will not only help him in the development of his business, but also assist him going forward in life.

“I’m running my own business that is why I decided to attend the course. I learnt a lot about business administration that will help me in running the business I have started. It will also help me in a long run should I find myself working for a company, then I will know how things are done.

“We covered topics on Marketing, Human Resource and Financial accounting,” Monyai went on to explain.

The course is open to managers and supervisors who are working in the private or public sector. Monyai and Maruping were the only two attendees who are footballers.

“We were the only two people who were not employed in corporate world. People who attended the course had experience; managers and supervisors in big companies”, said Monyai.
