Retha Knoetze dazzles at UK conference

Posted on August 30, 2013

Retha Knoetze, who lectures English on the Groenkloof campus, and to our Honours students, presented a conference paper on Chaucer, the 14th century poet, entitled the ‘A tale of “synne and harlotries”?: The Miller’s Tale as social ideology’ at the International Medieval Conference in Leeds in the UK during the July break. She has become an expert on Chaucer and his work in her studies for her Master's degree. Her paper was well-received by this specialist audience and she had a wonderful opportunity to network with other specialists in the field of medieval literature.
