The Vice-Principal for Research and Postgraduate Education, Prof Stephanie Burton, cordially invites all University of Pretoria researchers to a university-wide colloquium on current developments and challenges in scholarly publishing.
The aim of this colloquium is to involve and engage stakeholders on Open Access, and to enable the University of Pretoria to make informed decisions in this regard.
Aligned with global trends in scholarly communication, South African universities have effectively committed to the concept of Open Access 2020 (OA2020). University of Pretoria researchers are invited to attend this colloquium to gain an understanding of OA2020, its implications and benefits.
