"Dear Prospective Feesjaar Nitas" from the First Year Guardian

The beginning of 2013 is a new fresh start.  I would like to welcome and congratulate you in choosing Vividus Ladies as your home on campus.  This is a new fantastic beginning where you can pursue your dreams and where another chapter in your life with its own adventures, begins.  You could not have made a better decision, than to become a Nita (beautiful woman of God); only the first step into a journey holding many new friendships.

Van vandag af gaan jou lewe verander, want gedurende die volgende 2 weke gaan jy die beste tyd van jou lewe hê.  Die program is spesiaal vir julle as eerstejaars beplan, om vir julle ‘n voorsmakie te gee van die student lewe as Vividus Dame. Dit is Vividus Dames se 2de Feesjaar(10de verjaarsdag)-so ons beplan groot dinge vir die jaar. Ek hoop en vertrou dat julle aan alles sal deelneem, want dit is waar jy “bande gaan bou” met jou nuwe sussies.

This is the one place where you can grow into the person you’ve dreamed of becoming, feel like you belong and to make a difference in other people’s lives.  It is not always going to be easy, and that is why I am here for you.  I am your First Year Guardian.  I will be here for you whenever you need me.  We will spend a lot of time together.  When you get lost on your way home, have any questions or maybe just need someone to talk to, please feel free to contact me. I am here for YOU.

A woman should continue to grow and better her inner self. Proverbs 31 describes a woman who is competent and capable of doing many different things. A woman who continues to grow while developing her talents and abilities is a woman of value. A woman who is developing her potential is an attractive woman.
