Prof Ronel Rensburg, Head of the Communication Management Division in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, has received the Fellowship Award from the Public Relations and Communication Management Institute of southern Africa (PRISA) on 15 June 2015.
Rensburg, a former President of PRISA and board member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management Associations, has been acknowledged for 20 years of regional, national and international contribution to communication management education and practice.
The Fellowship may be conferred only upon registered practitioners at chartered or accredited level in recognition of long and distinguished service to PRISA and/or the public relations profession. Fellows are entitled to use the acronym FPRISA and to exercise full voting rights in the affairs of PRISA and may be elected to any post in PRISA.
