Call for papers

We welcome submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Theoretical frameworks and methodologies in vignette and anecdote research
  • Collaborative approaches to vignette and anecdote research across geographical and disciplinary boundaries
  • Vignettes and anecdotes as tools for cross-cultural, multiperspective understanding and communication, pointing out potentials and challenges, communication challenges and misunderstandings
  • Intersectionality and vignette and anecdote research: exploring multiple axes of identity
  • Ethical considerations in conducting vignette and anecdote research in diverse global contexts
  • The role of vignettes and anecdotes in promoting social justice and equity
  • Using vignettes and anecdotes to examine transnational issues such as migration, globalization, quality education, quality-of-life, wellbeing and sustainability
  • Challenges and opportunities in translating vignette and anecdote research findings across cultural and linguistic contexts

 

Submission Guidelines:

Abstracts should be between 300 and 450 words in length.

Abstracts for HYBRID, should be submitted by signing up on the webpage and uploading it by 23 August 2024.

Please include a title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and the required information on the abstract template..
