Panelist Dr Auckloo Pritee

Auckloo Pritee is a Senior Lecturer at the Mauritius Institute of Education, Mauritius. She is also a Mandela Washington Fellow, fellow for Interaction Leadership Programme for Africa and a TESSA-Olnet Fellow. She was the key organizer for DETA 2015 conference in Mauritius and led a number of interactive pedagogical projects, including those related to the practice of Open Education Resources (OERs), Home school projects and Women in Education. Dr Auckloo Pritee earned her doctorate in Education from the University of Brighton with focus on ‘The experiences of teachers in the context of Open educational practices (OEPs)’. She has over 20 years of experience in teaching that includes teaching at primary, secondary and teacher education levels. She focuses on research areas that include foregrounding contextual realities in an age of inevitable change and transformation, Open Educational Practices in schools, Home School Community partnership, and pedagogy in the 21st-century context.
