In January Dr Clever Nyathi, CMA Senior Associate, facilitated a workshop for the Uganda National Consultative Forum, a constitutionally mandated body tasked with facilitating dialogue among political parties. Another significant development in Dr Nyathi's work is the inclusion in the new Zimbabwe constitution of a provision establishing the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission. Dr Nyathi is Senior Advisor to the Zimbabwe Organ for National Healing, Reconciliation and Integration. |

On 10-11 April the Centre's Director, Dr Laurie Nathan, will attend the second steering committee meeting of the new UN Academic Advisory Council on Mediation. |
