Central African Republic seminar 14 May 2013 - The CMA hosted a seminar entitled ‘Crisis and Peacemaking in the Central African Republic’. Training workshop 27-31 May 2013 - The CMA ran a second training workshop on Mediation and Preventive Diplomacy for the East African Community (EAC). Participants were senior officials of the member states and members of the EAC secretariat tasked with developing the EAC's mediation capacity as part of the new Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution Mechanism (CPMRM). A first exploratory workshop took place in December 2012. The training programme can be viewed here. |
