The Tuks team started the game off strong cruising to a 13 point lead in the second quarter.
Wits made good adjustments and came back into the game to take a 70 -67 lead with 5 seconds left in regulation.

Tuks guard Benedict Ramakau scored a three pointer to tie the game and we headed into overtime where Wits executed better than Tuks did.

It was a closely contested game that came down to the wire and left no clear favorite.

The two teams will be meeting again for the upcoming semi final games where to compete for a spot at the University Sport South Africa (USSA) National Basketball Championship in UKZN in December 2010.
