The 2022 Financial Sciences Annual Awards Function was held on 24 May 2022 where awards were presented to 46 students in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from the four financial sciences departments, Taxation, Accounting, Financial Management, and Auditing.

EMS student Deena Martin is the winner of the EY Young Tax Professional of the Year 2021 for Southern Africa. She obtained her BCom Accounting Sciences degree with distinction in 2020 and is currently enrolled for the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences.
