This seminar series is jointly organised by the Institute for International and Comparative Law in Africa (ICLA) of the Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, and the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS).

This year the seminar focuses on the theme, “Separation of powers and constitutionalism in Africa: Comparative perspectives.” 

The following subthemes will be adressed:

  2. An overview of legislative and executive relations (3 papers)

  3. An overview of Legislative and Judicial relations (3 papers)
