Membership Application

Application: 

  • Membership applications should be directed in writing to the Executive Secretary 

The following documents should be submitted.

  1. DEASA Membership application
  2. The Institution's Constitution and Certificate of Incorporation, if any. 
  3. Details of the Institution, including background, structure, objectives and the extend of membership. 
  4. Details of the Principal Officer for the Institution. 

Granting of Membership.

  • Application for membership is examined by the ExCo to ascertain whether it complies with the constitutional requirements for the category of membership concerned.
  • If the ExCo is satisfied that an application complies with the requirements, the application shall be submitted to a General Meeting for decision by an ordinary majority of the votes present at the meeting.
  • The AGM shall determine the membership category of the accepted patrons.
  • Membership fees is payable within 30 days after notification of acceptance.
