2022 November Workshop on Trends in Modeling and Analysis in Life Sciences

Registration & abstract submission extended to October 31, 2022.

This is the 3rd edition in a successful series of MALS workshops organised by the Department of Mathematics & Applied Mathematics, University of Pretoria, the SARChI Chair M3B2 and CoE-MaSS. The workshop will take place from 20 - 23 November 2022 at Tshikwalo Game Lodge, Dinokeng Game Reserve. Workshop poster.

Over the years, the application of Mathematics in Biology and life sciences opened exciting research problems, in particular, in the areas of: epidemiology, cancer modeling, ecology, bioengineering, etc. Interesting research problems bring with them new mathematical challenges. The workshop aims to provide a forum for students and emerging and established researchers to explore new Research Trends in Mathematical Modeling and Analysis in Life Sciences. The workshop features scientific lectures by top researchers in the field, and posters by participants demonstrating the importance of mathematics and multidisciplinary research and looking ahead to future developments and advances.
