Poster in three presentations

All poster presenters will be required to present a 'pitch' to accompany their posters. The pitches will be presented during the poster-in-three sessions as indicated on the programme. This will be a motivation to attract participants to your poster. The format is as follows

1. One slide only (this slide could be the slide displaying your poster);
2. A 3 minute timed oral presentation;
3. No questions or discussions during the oral presentation;
4. The full poster will be displayed in the Workshop venue for the full duration of the workshop;
5. You must email to me ([email protected]) your pitch slide by October 1, 2018 so that all slides are preloaded on the presentation laptop.

Participation will be in the form of poster-in-three presentations. Abstract of the posters are submitted during the registration process.

Deadline for registration & submission of abstracts is September 7, 2018; notification of acceptance is September 10, 2018.

There is limited funding available for students. The support will cover 2 nights accommodation and meals for the 3 days. Please email Dr Garba ([email protected]) for the applications form. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. To qualify for funding, make sure you register and submit an abstract by September 7, 2018.

There is no registration fees, but you must be a registered participant to attend the workshop.
