Research interests: Yellow mealworms as a novel source of protein   

Department responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to students, researchers and external parties.
• Monitor and control the use of biological samples in Departmental freezers 
• Administration of finances for the Departmental vehicles.
• Hire Departmental vehicles to researchers and students for their fieldwork.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices and place orders and make purchases for trials and projects.
• Develop and administer vehicle/equipment assets management processes from procurement to disposal
• Logistical practical coordinator for second-year BSc module (ZEN 261 African Vertebrates) covering fish, amphibian, reptilian and avian, and mammalian diversity
• Assist students with their fieldwork data and sample collection.
• Identify potential hazards and report major incidents to the faculty health and safety committee.
• Review the effectiveness of health and safety measures in the Department of Zoology and Entomology
• Coordination of maintenance activities, and allocation of work orders to the maintenance department
