This module deals with legal aspects relevant at the time of divorce, including:
(a) Grounds for divorce – the focus will especially fall on the creation of a single ground for divorce.
(b) Redistribution orders
(c) Forfeiture of benefits orders
(d) Maintenance agreements
(e) Rule 43-applications
(f) Children and divorce – especially after the enactment of the Children’s Act 38 of 2005
