Vividus ladies had a very successful Rag week with our Rag partners Morula legae. It all started on the 4th of February whereby we started with preparation for Rag of hope day. The attendance throughout the week was phenomenal which clearly shows how willing members from both residents were to help and give back to the community. Throughout the week, the preparations for rag of hope day went very well and gave members from both residences an opportunity to socialise while they were folding blommetjies as well as building the box-cart, which was going to be raced on the Saturday. We also had to create a stall that was going to be used to sell handmade recyclable items that the residences made throughout in the week. When Rag of hope day finally arrived on the Saturday, You could feel the excitement from not only us but also from all the other residences. The day went very well as there were many activities taking place including a Cansa relay for life and UP’s got talent. We had a lot of fun throughout the day from selling stuff at the stalls to racing the box cart and to playing the sports that were allocated to us. In the evening after all the events finished taking place there was a final prize-giving ceremony and it is with great pleasure that I can say that that is the Virula did very well. Our results were 1st in sport, 3rd in relay and 3rd Place overall.
