Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology)

Various imaging modalities are utilised to assist with in-house patient diagnosis. Digital radiography including fluoroscopy capability, ultra sound, computed tomography (CT), and a nuclear imaging gamma camera are all part of the Diagnostic Imaging Section.

Important Note: In compliance with international safety regulations, and to protect personnel from the harmful effects of scatter radiation during radiographic procedures, PATIENTS ARE SEDATED OR FULLY ANAESTHETISED during the taking of radiographs.
