The TuksCricket Academy's mission is to provide an environment of excellence for young cricketers to optimize their potential.
We have a structured programme that provides high-quality coaching to all of those interested in improving not as sportspeople but becoming well-rounded people with a core focus on academics as well. Ultimately, the TuksCricket Academy programme aims to develop each young cricketer in order to optimize his potential by gaining access to first-class facilities and incorporating the use of cutting-edge technology.
The TuksCricket Academy which forms part of TuksSport High School prioritises its coaching philosophy, a philosophy that:
- Is unique and distinguishable from standard coaching practice.
- Acknowledges that any physical performance consists of a physical, mental, tactical and technical component and aims to improve and maximize the individual in each of these areas.
- Provides an opportunity for those who believe they have a future in the game.
- Will provide for young cricketers to grow their talents without being lost in a team setup where individual attention is limited or nonexistent.
