About the bursary
Please note funding might differ for certain student groups due to funder specific stipulations:
- University fees, paid in full
- Accommodation*
- Books*
- Meals stipend*
- Cash allowance
- Academic (tutorial, academic development & extended programmes)
- Social support
- Life skills training
- Mentoring (first-year experience)
- Medical support (psycho-social support)
- Access to dedicated programme managers
- Use of an online student platform to track individual academic progress
*These amounts are subsidised with a cap.
Qualifying for the bursary
In order to qualify for an ISFAP bursary, you need to:
- Have a household income that falls below R600 000
- Meet academic criteria and registration, which vary per institution but includes:
- Matric results
- Funder constraints (that meet individual funder objectives), which will be applied to students applying
