Keynote Speaker

Jos C.N. Raadschelder will  be the keynote speaker at the 2019 SPMA conference.  He is a professor at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, The Ohio State University. He serves there also as the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and as the Faculty Director of Professional and Development Training Programmes. His research interests include the nature of government and its study, comparative government, civil service systems, and administrative history. His Ph.D. (1990) is from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands, where he also was a faculty member from 1983-1998. From 1998 to 2011 he worked at the University of Oklahoma, and since 2011 at OSU. He served as managing editor of Public Administration Review (2006-2011) and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
