The SPMA has a higher research output per capita than any other school in Africa in public administration. It is also the most active department in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences in terms of research. With only 10 staff members, it has produced an average of 19 academic articles per annum over the last six years, with an average of 92% of these being published in internationally accredited journals.
