The following guide will advise you on how to register and submit an abstract for the conference.
How to register for the website
|The conference website will require you to register on the University of Pretoria's conference management system. This registration will allow you to easily manage any conference attendance that is hosted through the University of Pretoria's conference management system.
Click on Login, and then click on Register in the drop-down menu.
|Populate the registration form with your personal details. These can be changed later on should there be a problem, but its best to get everything correct from the start.|
|Once you've completed the registration form, you'll be sent a confirmation e-mail to the supplied e-mail address.|
In the confirmation e-mail sent to the supplied e-mail address, you'll find a one-time use password, as well as a confirmation URL. Click on the confirmation URL to finalise your registration.
Should you not have received the confirmation e-mail, please check your spam or junk box.
|Complete your registration by confirming the registration details with your one-time use password. You will be asked to supply a new password as well. Please choose a password that is easy to remember, but also safe to use.|
How to register for the conference
|Once registered on the conference management system, you can then register for the conference by clicking on Fees and registration.|
|After clicking on Fees and registration, you will be able to see all the different conferece packages available to you, including their prices. Click on Attend to register for the conference.|
|Select the participant type and registration package that you are interested in, as well as the additional functions that you wish to attend. Please note that all functions are free of charge, however, we need to plan for them and thus require accurate attendance numbers.|
|An invoice will be generated once you have registered for the conference, showing all the pertinent information needed for payment. An invoice will also be sent to your supplied e-mail address.|
How to submit an abstract
|Once registered on the conference management system, you can submit your abstract by clicking on My abstracts.|
|By clicking on My abstracts, you will be directed to the abstract submission page. Click on Upload abstract to submit your abstract.|
|Complete the submission page by populating the necessary fields (follow the Abstract guidelines to facilitate this process). Also select the Stream and Paper submission for which the abstract is appropriate for.|
