This is the ideal starting point for students who are interested in studying towards BCom in management and to financial and economic sciences only if transfer requirements are met at the end of the first year. Students must apply during October of their first year to be transferred to the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences on the Hatfield Campus. Placement in BCom (Accounting Sciences) and BCom (Investment Management) cannot be guaranteed and will only take place in very limited instances. Students in the BCom – Extended programme should pass all first-year modules in order to be transferred to any of the BCom programmes.
For more information, please consult the Faculty webpage.
Career opportunities depend on the field of study chosen by students in their second year of study.
