BSc (Interior Architecture) (or equivalent) degree or relevant tertiary qualification that includes spatial design at NQF level 7 (or NQF level 6 for qualifications obtained before 2009)
At least one year of practical experience and/or a record of an extended study excursion
Candidates are selected on merit over three rounds of elimination:
Round 1: Academic record
Round 2: Biographical questionnaire and academic writing assignment
Round 3: Design portfolios, journals, selection assignments and interviews with a panel of selectors

The Faculty is organised in four schools: the School of Engineering, the School for the Built Environment, the School of Information Technology and the Graduate School of Technology Management.
