Overview
The PGSA is strictly a non-profit, dependent organisation which runs solely by the volunteer efforts of the postgraduate veterinary students in the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria.
The PGSA meets its objectives by:
- Maintaining an informative and interactive website through which the postgraduate interests and the Faculty of Veterinary Science will be promoted.
- Encouraging the postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to engage in more scientific discourse and publications.
- Providing a better perspective of postgraduate education for undergraduate veterinary students within the faculty.
- Collaborating with various scientific and professional bodies and organisations within the veterinary and health care fields such as research and pharmaceutical institutes etc.
