The Department of Physiology is thrilled to announce the launch of the Student Volunteer Program under the esteemed leadership of Prof. Janette Bester. This program aims to provide postgraduates with invaluable hands-on experience, enabling them to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings.

On July 30th, Prof. Annie Joubert, along with dedicated student mentors, hosted an interactive discussion to welcome the new volunteers. This session focused on setting expectations and discussing future career goals, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for our students.

The program, running from August 1st to December 31st, promises to be a transformative experience. Students will participate in various departmental activities, develop critical thinking skills, and make meaningful contributions to the broader scientific community.
