Module content | This module integrates topics in plant disease epidemiology and mechanisms for control, emphasizing the impact of climate change on disease development and sustainable strategies to disease management. Students will delve into the analysis and monitoring of disease epidemics, understanding crop losses, utilizing statistical procedures and modelling, and examining case studies. Alongside this, they will explore chemical and biological control methods, including discussions on plant-pathogen interactions and defence mechanisms to provide insights into effective disease control measures. |
