The following requirements are set for completing the programme:
1. Relevant bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree with at least one applicable biological subject as a major
2. A weighted average of at least 60% in the biological science subjects/modules at final-year level
The prerequisites for admission to the honours degree in certain fields of study are indicated in the syllabuses of the specific department.

The degree is conferred with distinction on a student who has obtained an average of at least 75% (not rounded) in the examination (written, oral, practical, etc).
Minimum credits: 124
Introduction to osteology, bone function and classification, humerus, radius, ulna, femur, tibia, fibula, clavicle, scapula, ribs, sternum, vertebrae, pelvis, hand and foot bones, sesamoid bones, skull, mandible, joints.
A complete synopsis of all anatomy modules at postgraduate level is published in the study guide for postgraduate anatomy courses, which is available on request from the Department of Anatomy.
This module includes 30 research credits.
