Module content | An introduction to property investment with the aim to develop an understanding of the nature and scope of investment. It includes the nature and scope of real estate investment, objectives of property investors, participants in the property investment process, the investment decision process, investment criteria, investment time horizons, decision-making approaches, different taxes applicable to property investment and development; asset classes; investment strategies; investment principles; investment lifecycle; Time value of money. Listed vehicles and REIT’s. The international market and investment standards, international investment strategy and risk in international investments. |
