This module offers an introduction to various legal aspects related to thecontemporary exploitation of mineral resources. A captia selecta of topics include different legal issues in mine development and production; associated environmental and social challenges; mineral resource governance, and the interplay between the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the mining sector.
