Keith is a consultant Pathologist and Senior Lecturer in the Unit of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at the University of Sheffield.  He obtained his PhD at the University of Glasgow in 2005. The main focus of his research is the identification of biomarkers in oral cancer and pre-cancer for which he has obtained numerous research grants. In addition, he has a keen interest in odontogenic lesions. He is currently  responsible for leading a prominent research team whilst supervising six PhD students.   Keith is serving his second term as Treasurer for the International Association of Oral Pathologists.
